Host: Kamloops Classic Swimming

When: June 5 - 7, 2026

Where: Canada Games Aquatic Centre, 910 McGill Road, Kamloops, BC

Course: Long Course Meters (LCM)

Format: 10 & Undder Timed Finals | 11 & Over Heats & Finals

Eligibility: Divisional 5, Divisional 6, Provincial 6, Provincial 7, Senior Provincial, Olympians Red

Expectations: All participants are required to wear their team uniform and abide by the Olympians Swimming Code of Conduct, facility, and meet rules.

If a swimmer is unable to participate in any session at the competition (including any finals session), this must be noted in the declaration notes and the group coach must be notified.

Volunteering: As guests at this competition, Olympians Swimming is expected to provide timers and officials for assigned lanes/sessions. A call for volunteers may be sent out closer to the meet date. Your participation is crucial for the meet to run smoothly and is greatly appreciated.

Swimmer Surcharge:  $5.50
Individual Entry Fees: $120.00
Relay Fee: $10.00
Coaching Fees:  $65.00

Swimmers who are traveling with the team will also be assessed their share of the travel expenses, including transportation, accommodation, and meals. 

Schedule of Events:
Swimmers are to report to their coach a minimum of 15 minutes before the scheduled warm-up session.

We are in the initial phase of planning our travel to Kamloops. A tentative summary of the team travel follows:

  • Depart Thursday, June 4th, 1:00 pm (To be confirmed)
  • Competition June 5 - 7th
  • Return Sunday, June 7th, 11:00 pm (To be confirmed)

The cost of team travel will depend on the number of participants. It is estimated to cost between $500 to $600 for the travel. We will have a better idea of this cost after the participant numbers are confirmed.

Team Travel:

  • Olympians Swimming will coordinate all travel arrangements. This includes transportation, accommodation, and meals.
  • A Travel Consent Form is required for minor athletes.
  • Athletes will travel together under the supervision of Olympians Swimming coaches and chaperons.
  • Team curfews and rules will be enforced.
  • Team travel is not recommended for swimmers aged 10 and younger.
  • The cost will include the cost of the entries, staffing, and shared cost of transportation, accommodation, and meals.

Individual Travel:

The individual travel is summarized below. For more information please view the Individual Travel Policy.

  • Families are responsible for arranging and paying for all travel needs.
  • A Travel Consent Form is required if a minor athlete is traveling with someone other than a parent or guardian.
  • Parents traveling with minor athletes are responsible for their child's supervision throughout the event.
  • Parents not traveling with their child must designate a Volunteer Parent to supervise.
  • Swimmers must be on time and prepared for each session at the competition, aligned with the team travel swimmers schedule.
  • The cost will include the cost of the entries and staffing. Members doing individual travel will be responsible for the cost of their own transportation, accommodation, and meals.
