This clinic is designed as an introduction to the butterfly stroke for Mini and Bronze level swimmers who want to build confidence and develop a strong foundation in one of swimming's most challenging strokes. A key focus of the clinic will be the dolphin kick, helping swimmers understand the rhythmic body motion and coordination that form the basis of an effective butterfly.
Swimmers will learn butterfly kick fundamentals, technique drills, and skill progressions that lead into the full stroke. Through coach demonstrations, video feedback, and hands-on instruction, swimmers will gain a better understanding of how their body moves through the water, how to generate power and rhythm, and how to swim butterfly with greater efficiency and confidence.
