Olympic Way

Minimum Requirements: Be comfortable in deep water & be able to swim on front and back for 25m (1 Length of Pool). They should also be aware of what the four strokes are.

Olympic Way is designed to help swimmers continue their journey past Mini Olympians. They will be increasing their training and strengthening the skills for all four strokes. They will learn more race skills and become aware of the art of racing. Swimmers should be confident swimming in water of all depths and be willing to listen and learn! It is important to note, swim meets will be introduced through Novice meets during the year. The attendance to these will be beneficial to the progress and confidence building of your swimmer!

Once a swimmer is able to swim under 4 minutes for a 200 IM, they can be considered for Regional!

Initial Cost OW: $160/month + Swim BC Membership Fee + Family Membership Fee

*Swim Challenge Fee will be due In February: $105*

W.C. Blair : Stroke Improvement & Conditioning - W.C. Blair

Stroke Improvement and Conditioning

Minimum Requirements: Be comfortable in all depths of water. Swimmers should be able to swim 50m continuously in freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke, and should have some experience with butterfly, including dolphin kick and simultaneous arm recovery.

In SIC, swimmers will continue their journey in swimming with focus on improve each stroke to the best of their capabilities.

Goals of SIC include attaining Regional time standards. Depending on their age, they may be eligible to tryout for Regional or Senior. Swimmers will be encouraged to attend meets.

Initial Cost 2x/week SIC: $170/month + Swim BC Membership Fee + Family Membership Fee
Initial Cost 3x/week SIC: $190/month + Swim BC Membership Fee + Family Membership Fee
